Undergraduate

The core curriculum is composed of 31 credits Which are Foundation of Education (3 credits), Principles of Teaching (2 credits), Sociology of Education (3 credits), Education Statistics (3 credits), Curriculum Development and Design (3 credits), Methods of Educational Research (3 credits), Philosophy of Education (3 credits) History of Education (3 credits), Instructional Technology & Application (2 credits), Introduction of Learning Technology (3 credits). All of the 40 students in the department can be qualified for teacher training. The total credit for graduation is 128 credits.

Graduate

In the MA course, there are “Curriculum and Teaching program” and “Administration and Evaluation program”。These programs are both for in-service training and full-time student. The requirements for the MA degree are 32 credits, thresholds to be met, and a master thesis with oral examination.

In the Ph. D. program, the curriculum divided into common and specialized fields. There are three kinds of specialized field which are educational theory, curriculum and teaching, and educational administration. The required credits for the degree are to have Ph. D. dissertation (4 credits), common course (6 credits) and one of the specialized fields (26 credits). In addition, they need to pass thresholds, scholastic exam and oral examination of the dissertation.
