This department was established in 1987. It aims to cultivate future elementary school teachers, experts in curriculum design and development, educational administration, education-related business, and professionals in learning technology and educational research. The department has developed specialized curricula spanning from undergraduate to doctoral levels, aimed to enhance research capabilities. Furthermore, the department also offers an in-service master's program, providing a pathway for in-service teachers and educational entrepreneur to pursue further education. In order to promote the use of digital technology, the department changed its name into Department of Education and Learning Technology in 2013, emphasizing education as the core and technology as the means of development. Our department combines traditional teacher training with a modern integration of technology, becoming a key player in both educational theory and practice in the country.
 

This Department builds on education as the core and technology as the means of development, featuring educational research, elementary teacher education, educational business management, alternative education, and digital learning technology. DELT is famous for the curriculum of technology integration in traditional teacher education among the educational departments in Taiwan. The DELT faculty members are renowned for their diverse teaching and research expertise.

The center was founded in August, 1992. It aims at elevating the quality of school education. The main tasks are for the study and the introduction of school evaluation in pioneer countries. Besides, it also holds in-service programs for school and educational administrators in the field of evaluation.
